Late Knight

Late Knight was a local late-night talk show out of CFCN-TV in Calgary. Guests were mainly athletes, musicians and locals of note. The show aimed to be a Jack Parr-style program but it had a small budget and very few celebrities coming through town. Host Eddie Hunter welcomed Rolf Harris to the show on one occasion.

This Half Hour

People at the centre of important issues and people who were issues in themselves were at the heart of This Half Hour. The series was a mixture of entertainment, information and controversy, hosted by Hana Gartner. Ten episodes were originally scheduled, but due to the Commonwealth Games that summer, only nine were ever broadcast.
