Filmed in Toronto, Hot Shots followed the exploits of Crimeworld Magazine reporters Amanda Reed and Jason West, played by Dorothy Parke and Booth Savage.
Some episodes of Hot Shots featured the cast of another Alliance series, Night Heat, in character.
The series first aired on CBS in 1986. CTV aired it at the end of 1987.
