Peter and Pooch was a weekly children's show and one of the first programs to air on Saskatchewan's first television station, CKCK Regina. The show featured a diverse cast of marionettes created by Freda Newman and Shirley Fraser. They also wrote the scripts and voiced and operated the puppets.
