Scramble (Series) (1961)

Scramble was a short-lived truth-or-consequences type of show on CJAY-TV in Winnipeg. It was an audience-participation program where eight contestants chosen prior to the show were dressed in size 48 coveralls and divided into teams. They then tried to put together a jigsaw puzzle. The first contestant to do this had to "scramble" and off he went on a tricycle, through culverts, tires, a barrage of eggs and what not until he reached one of three doors. There he got a prize — or a pie in the face — depending on his luck. The show aired for less than 2 months in the summer of 1961.
