I remember something that Katy the Craft Lady
did, but I've since forgotten how to do it.
By folding an 8" by 11" piece of paper and
cutting it a certain way, you could make a
"hole" in the paper large enough for an adult
to pass through. I followed along with Katy,
and what do you know, it worked! I've tried
to do it many times since, but all I've
managed to do is waste paper.

I sure remember Shanty town when I was a child. That was TV, so innocent. Make you proud to be a Cape Bretoner and know that show was produced and starred people from our very own Sydney NS. I "googled" this show to actually get a pic to show my kids. Something triggered the show in my mind. I guess we never forget our childhood shows do we?

My high school drama teacher played Sam the Sailor in this show.
