Loto Canada (Series)

Aka: Loto-Canada

Federally run Loto Canada (son of the Olympic Lottery), with its big-revenue $10 tickets, million-dollar bonanzas and new instant prizes, tried to upstage its rivals by using well-programmed, closely guarded computers. (No showy spheres and colored balls for them.) They also produced a glittery, live $100,000-plus TV show, chock-full of Canadian talent and expensive sets. Loto Canada shows had random numbers from 20-sided Japanese dice fed into a computer which spewed out prize winning numbers.
