C.L.Y.D.E. (Series) (1990-1991)


In the first episode, we meet C.L.Y.D.E. on his home planet of supercomputer beings of great seriousness. C.L.Y.D.E. is on trial for possessing a sense of humor, and when found guilty, he is banished from his home and shot out into space. C.L.Y.D.E. lands in Matt and Sam's backyard, and they hide what's left of him -- a black box -- in their basement. They hook him up to an old jukebox, and he comes alive. C.L.Y.D.E. stands for Computer Linked Yield Driven Entity.
