World of Music presented classical music from around the world in Sunday afternoon, one hour broadcasts. It included original CBC productions, as well as programs purchased from foreign sources, and documentary films on subjects of serious music, such as the National Film Board's portrait of Arthur Rubenstein, as well as programs of concerts, ballet, and opera.
