Apr 25, 1957 - Ten Days that Shook the Commonwealth- first program in a new series prepared by the National Film Board from film material gathered in all parts of the world. Tonight's film is a review of the recent Suez crisis, and will be narrated by Edgar McInnis, president of the Canadian National Institute of International Affairs. It is the first of 13 films in this series to deal with the Commonwealth. From Toronto.

May 2, 1957 - The second in the National Film Board series, in which the bonds that bind Commonwealth members and the differences which separate them are examined.

May 9, 1957 - "Four Centuries of Growing Pains," history of the British Empire and Commonwealth to the signing of the Statute of Westminster. (Third program in a National Film Board series).

May 16, 1957 - "Commonwealth Of Nations — Crisis In Asia," the story cf India, Pakistan and Ceylon.

May 30, 1957 - "The Invisible Keystone." The program will show how the British system of law and order came into being and how it is applied within Commonwealth countries.

Jun 13, 1957 - "Colonialism — Ogre or Angel?"

Jun 20, 1957 - "They Called It White Man's Burden," a National Film Board production showing how Britain helped its colonial peoples by fighting disease and pestilence, and by educating and developing these areas.

Jun 27, 1957 - Third of a series of films on the colonies within the Commonwealth. It explores the currently vital issue of colonial development and the question: can a people advance under colonial rule, or are they doomed to oppression and poverty unless they gain independence. (National Film Board production.)

Jul 4, 1957 - This week's film deals with some of the issues behind "apartheid" — South Africa's white-Bantu segregation policy.

Jul 11, 1957 - "The Colonies Look Ahead" — a progress report on the British Colonial Office's efforts to prepare colonial areas for self-government.

Jul 18, 1957 - Last National Film Board program on Britain's colonies. Tonight—"The Road to Independence."

Jul 8, 1958 - Last program in the series "The Nature of Work." This week— "The Skilled Worker" (National Film Board).
