Jan 23, 1972 - Episode 1.
Jan 30, 1972 - Episode 2: (The Past) - Renny, Maurice and Wright attend a ball on the eve of going off to war. In France, Wright is killed, Maurice is wounded and Kenny receives word of his father's death. (The Present) - The family gathers at Kenny's bidding to discuss their financial crisis. Renny and Roma later conspire without the family's knowledge to sell an old theatre in order to save Jalna.
Feb 6, 1972 - Episode 3: (The Past) - During the First World War life at Jalna is changing. At the end of the war Renny and Maurice return and Renny is appalled to find Jalna in a rundown state. (The Present) - To spite Renny, Ernest brings his father Finch from the mental home where he has been confined on a surprise visit.
Feb 13, 1972 - Episode 4: (The Past) - Renny is continually frustrated by Old Adeline in his struggle to restore Jalna to its pre-war efficiency. (The Present) - Roma and her husband, Mail, are giving a party to celebrate Mait's new business partnership bought with her money from the sale of the theatre. Ernest arrives and quarrel takes place.
Feb 27, 1972 - Episode 5: (The Past) - The Dayborus are working out well at the Jalna stables and Kenny's interest in Chris becomes evident. Eden is spending time with Mrs. Stroud and the family decides to break up this romance. (The Present) - Young Ernest is romantically involved with his cousin Victoria, and Kenny worries about Adeline's intention to marry Tony.
