Oct 6, 1979 - In Toronto's famous Kensington neighborhood, Sharon, Lois and Bram, accompanied by Bill Usher and the Kensington Kids, and a friendly elephant meet at the playground for a day of musical discovery. And, Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree- Walt Disney presents A.A. Milne's delightful story of Winnie the Pooh who sets off to satisfy his craving for honey.

Nov 17, 1979 - "Run Cowboy Run." This action-packed story explores the rugged and exciting life of Canada's cowboy heroes, as Rick Nelson, a young rodeo school student, accompanies three of Canada's best-known rodeo competitors, Dale Trottier, Doug "Scruffy" Void and Bob Robertson, on a gruelling western tour. Filmed on location in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Wyoming and Montana. Produced by Jack Emack of CBC Edmonton.

Dec 1, 1979 - "Night Ferry." Three children uncover a plot to smuggle the jewel-studded mummy case of an Egyptian boy-king out of England. Jeff: Graham Fletcher. Nick: Engin Ashref. Carol: Jayne Tottman. Filmed on location in London and Dover, England. (60 min.)

Dec 8, 1979 - Two films: Winnie the Pooh and the Bluestery Day — Narrated by the late Sebastian Cabot, another of A.A. Milne's delightful animations from Walt Disney. And, Ida Makes A Movie — Encouraged by her friend Cookie, her brother Fred and mother, Ida decides to make a movie about pollution and enter it in a Children's Film Festival.

Dec 15, 1979 - "Little Women." Louisa May Alcott's story interpreted in dance. The ballet concentrates on one year in the lives of the March girls—Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy—and their boy friends. Joanne Woodward narrates; choreographed by Edward Villella to music by Robert Maxwell. (60 min.)

Dec 22, 1979 - "The Popcorn Man." It's the story of a lovable and wealthy eccentric who has given up the hustle and bustle of the world of big business to become a popcorn man. The action, which takes place in a park in a single day of the popcorn man's life, revolves around a kangaroo that runs away from the zoo.

Dec 29, 1979 - "Chickadee." Well-known Canadian scientist, Dr. David Suzuki is host of this nature magazine for kids, ages six to eight. Together with co-host "Chickadee" (played by Luba Goy of Royal Canadian Air Farce fame), Dr. Suzuki looks at birds, sea life, animals, plants and insects. Filmed in Vancouver and Toronto, the special begins with a visit to the Vineland (Ont.) Owl Rehabilitation Centre of Mrs. K McKeever. There is also a visit to the Stanley Park Zoo to see killer whales and Canadian filmmaker-naturalist Janet Foster (Wild Canada) talks about porcupines and ground hogs. Other segments include, dog training with Cathy and her dog, Tim; and a look at the life cycle of the cecropia moth and plants. Throughout there are songs, poems and quizzes— all designed to encourage young Canadians to appreciate and enjoy their natural surroundings.

Jan 5, 1980 - "Getting It Together." Two half-hours back to back highlighting talents of several accomplished young Canadians. Among the featured artists is Newfoundland's flautist, Marina Piccinini.

Jan 12, 1980 - While on vacation, Gordon Ross (Luke Batchelor) and his sister (Virginia Fiol) find themselves in "Deep Waters" when they are kidnaped by a band of smugglers. (60 min.)

Jan 19, 1980 - "Reaching Out." The touching story of a very special summer in the life of two adolescents. Karyn is 15 years old and lives in a group home run by two very compassionate counsellors. Shy, introspective and mistrustful of personal relationships, she finally finds acceptance from a young paraplegic who is spending the summer at his family cottage. Producers Rebecca Yates and Glen Salzman. Erin Flannery plays Karyn, Robert Kennedy plays Blake. Patricia Collins stars as Blake's mother, Mate. Jonathan Welsh plays Nathan, one of the counsellors at the group home where Karyn lives. Jackie Burroughs is seen as Karyn's mother and Nancy Beatty plays Nell, the other counsellor.

Feb 2, 1980 - From Newfoundland. "Pirate's Gold." An original musical adventure filmed on a schooner, in caves and in a lighthouse in Newfoundland, starring Ryan's Fancy, Beth Harrington, Jamie Pinhorn, Sheelagh Chadwick, Michael Cook and all the songs and stories ever told or sung about Captain Kidd and the pirates who sailed around Newfoundland. Produced by Jack Kellum.

Feb 23, 1980 - "Someday, Sometime." A 12-year-old boy (Douglas Wiederhold) faces an uncertain future following the death of his mother. (60 min.)

Mar 22, 1980 - In "One Hour to Zero," two boys return home from a nearby slate quarry to find their village deserted, unaware that it was evacuated. (60 min.)

Apr 5, 1980 - "A Hitch in Time." Two children participate in the launching of a time machine- that explodes after sending them back into history. Paul: Michael McVey. Fiona: Pheona McLellan. Professor Wagstaff: Patrick Troughton. Sniffy Kemp: Jeff Rawle.

Apr 12, 1980 - "Avalanche," a film from the U.K. and "Captain Nemo," Series 1, Episode 2.

Apr 19, 1980 - "Sammy's Super T-shirt." (English) A young boy discovers that he has new athletic powers when he wears a special T-shirt. (60 min.)

Apr 26, 1980 - "Hewitt's Just Different" is a story about a retarded boy (Perry Lang) whose expertise on the knuckle ball helps his friend (Moosie Drier) make the Little League team. (60 min.)

Jun 7, 1980 - "Mr. Selkie." The story of a seal that leaves the ocean at full moon and comes ashore in the shape of a man. He befriends two children and with their help makes an impassioned plea against sea pollution. Captain Nemo, Series 2, Episode 4.

Jun 21, 1980 - Three children at an African mission hospital help a young friend search for a stolen calf. (60 min.)

Aug 2, 1980 - Pt. 1. "One Hour to Zero." Two boys return home, unaware that their village has been evacuated as a precaution against a possible nuclear explosion. Pt. 2. "Captain Nemo," Episode 12. (60 min.)

Aug 16, 1980 - Two boys, washed ashore on "The Black Island," are taken prisoner by escaped convicts. Captain Nemo, Episode 14.(60 min.)
