Summer Camping (Series) (1957)

Summer Camping was a live children's series from Montreal, featuring folk-singers Alan Mills and Louis Thomas, handicrafts expert and storyteller. The program provided instruction in handling a canoe, fishing, equipping for overnight trips, wood-carving, Indian lore, and other woodsman's skills, as well as entertainment in the form of campfire songs and stories. Later in the series, Louis Thomas left the program for personal reasons, and to fill his place there was a special guest each week.
