St. Lawrence North (Series) (1960-1967)

St. Lawrence North, produced for the CBC by Crawley Films Limited in Ottawa, was a documentary series which explored the colorful history of the north shore of the St. Lawrence River from Tadoussac to the Straits of Belle Isle.

The original idea, research and writing for the series were the contribution of Pierre Perrault, French-Canadian poet and playwright. Director and editor was Rene Bonniere, a native of France.
