Oct 23, 1963 - Room to Let. Joe learns that Mary doesn't say much—just a lot. Kate has a chat with Quill and is surprised by his reaction.

Oct 25, 1963 - Room to Let. Kate makes a decision for Quill and he agrees. The dinner scene is set and there is a reaction from all the boarders when a surprise visitor turns up.

Apr 6, 1964 - The Gate. After the birth of a daughter, Sally reverts to her old selfish ways and draws Jim deeper into the web of her family.

Apr 7, 1964 - The Gate. Jim is offered a promotion if he moves to Chicago, but Mrs. Scott offers him a job in one of the Scott businesses in Scarlett Hill.

Apr 8, 1964 - The Gate. Jim decides to lead his own life, and Sally must decide whether to go with her husband or remain with her wealthy family.

Apr 9, 1964 - Hannah. Alec and Donna Howe are having financial problems when Donna learns that her mother, Hannah, a housekeeper, is coming to stay with them.

Apr 10, 1964 - Hannah. Hannah acts as housekeeper for a special dinner party for Alec's boss, Mr. Elston. Mr. Elston notices Hannah's efficiency and offers her a job.

May 18, 1964 - Double Corner. Joe is successfully integrated into the community as Gaylord's nephew, but feels the strain of his double role.

May 19, 1964 - Double Corner. Dora Pepperall returns to the house and thinks she recognizes Joe. Sergeant McDougall investigates.

May 20, 1964 - Double Corner. In an attempt to cover for Joe, Gaylord confesses he committed the murder. But Joe won't let Gaylord take the blame and tells Sergeant McDougall that he is Joe Green.

May 21, 1964 - Next Year. Lawyer Alan Taylor expects to run for mayor in the next Scarlett Hill elections. He visits his doctor and gets an unfavorable medical report.

May 22, 1964 - Next Year. Taylor is told by his doctor that he has only six months to live.
