Quintet was a CBC musical program originating in Vancouver. Singer Eleanor Collins, folk and ballad singer Bud Spencer and the Chris Gage Trio presented selections from Broadway musicals, narrative folk ballads and ethnic songs, and interludes of blues music. Each week a composer of popular songs was saluted. Chris Gage was featured at the piano, with Stan Johnson on the bass and Jimmy Whiteman on the drums.
