Nov 26, 1990 - "Return to Sender." A 20-year-old letter may hold the clue to the location of loot from a bank robbery, but Bernie has to depend on Sally—and the bank robber's old girlfriend—to crack the letter's code. Guest cast: Deanne Henry, Brian McGugan.

Jan 14, 1991 - "Over the Edge." Bernie searches the prosecutor's office on behalf of the district attorney in order to prevent an innocent man from going to jail.

Jan 21, 1991 - "Spinal Trap." Sally and Bernie set out to discover if Vic Stephens really needs the neck brace he is wearing. Guest cast: Michael Hogan, Jay Brazeau, Sarah Perkins.

Season Two

Sep 30, 1991 - "Safe at Home." Bernie is hired to discover if an erratic pitcher is throwing the game.

Oct 7, 1991 - "I.O.U." Sally must put Johnny under surveillance in order to help Nadine save the Pacific Café.

Oct 14, 1991 - "The Shadows." Bernie and Sally have nostalgia troubles when they try to help a 1960s-style singing group find work.

Oct 21, 1991 - "A Fist of Fate." When Bernie becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, he enlists Sally's help to trap the real murderer.

Oct 28, 1991 - "Dig that Grave." Two women who were married to the same man become clients: one wants Bernie to find her missing dog, the other wants Sally to find her missing husband—who was buried a year ago.

Nov 4, 1991 - "Bad to be Born." When Bernie sends Sally to deliver a summons, she returns with a baby and the child's father in hot pursuit.

Nov 11, 1991 - "Repo Ride." Bernie and Sally try to repossess a car with a thief in the trunk.

Nov 18, 1991 - "Time Wounds All Heels." Bernie's cousin comes to him for help after escaping from prison. He only wants to visit his dying mother.

Nov 25, 1991 - "Cash and Money." When an aging comic dies during his act at the Pacific Cafe, Sally begins a search for his former partner.

Dec 9, 1991 - "A Fugue for Mr. X." Bernie and Sally open the office door one night and find an amnesiac (Gordon Clapp) who's good at math—and is carrying around a lot of cash. Cully: Don Williams.

Mar 16, 1992 - "Through a Door Quickly." Bernie becomes involved with a mysterious countess with a multiple personality. Directed by Anne Wheeler

Mar 23, 1992 - "Night Train." It's murder on the express, if not the Orient, when Sally and Bernie take a reluctant murder witness for a train ride, and one of the other passengers tries to derail him—permanently. Lawrence: Tom McBeath, Celine: Victoria Snow. Drunk: Gordon Whipple.
