Just Down The Street presented a selection of narrative films about children, produced independently with the CBC's participation.

Each of the films in this series has the distinction of being made from a child's point of view, giving the audience an understanding of how children grow and learn in a variety of situations.

Other programs were repeats from the series The Kids of Degrassi Street produced by Linda Schuyler and Kit Hood.
