Does anyone know where to get a DVD of all the episodes? I recall hearing that the original tapes were destroyed due to an ownership dispute but I hope that was just an urban myth. The talent and range of Billy Van is well documented in this series and should be revived.
I was really scared of this show, but I still could not take my eyes of the TV screen.
My favourite part was when the witch would cook something in her mess of a kitchen.

I hated the Dr. Pet Vet part of the show because Igor would never get to keep any of the pets. "but Master!! .... Why can't I keep this sweet adorable little kitten?"

I think this show is available on DVD now.

That show needs its own sidewalk on the Canadian walk of fame. I was into my 30s before I knew Billy Van also played the librarian. Billy Van was fuckin' amazing.

I believe that this may be one of the most underrated shows of all-time. Billy Van is a genious. He played the characters so well that as a child, I didnt even realize that most of the characters were played by the same guy. Grizelda and the Librarian were my favourites!
