A summer replacement, Floor Show took place in a nightclub setting, and presented music by Canada's premier dance bands of the 1950s, including orchestras led by Bobby Gimby, Chicho Valle, Art Hallman, and Mart Kenney. It also featured regular performances by dancer Alan Lund. The show's host was Monty Hall, then a Toronto radio announcer making his first appearance on television.
