Famous Jury Trials (Series) (1970-1971)
Based on a previous American drama, Famous Jury Trials starred real-life brothers Donnelly Rhodes and Tim Henry as a legal brother act.
The series was pitched by CTV as "documentary dramas based on celebrated Canadian courtroom cases running daily in serial form for a week or two per trial." Rather, the series was heavily criticized for not being authentic, historic, nor Canadian.
The series was seen on for a full year on CTV each weekday in the 2:30 p.m. timeslot. It debuted on Sept. 8, 1970.
Cast:
Donnelly Rhodes .... Defence Attorney
Tim Henry .... Defence Attorney
Cec Linder .... Prosecutor
Original Broadcaster(s): CTV
