Difference, La (Series) (1968)

Aka: Canada Through the Looking Glass

Journalists Peter Desbarats and Richard Gwyn introduced La Difference, a public affairs program that explored aspects of the divergence between English and French cultures and societies in Canada. The show was not simply current affairs commentary; its premise, stated Desbarats, acknowledged that "history is often a matter of interpretation, written and taught to achieve certain ends."

The eight one-hour shows in the series covered a variety of subjects, often with an intriguing approach.
