The David Clayton-Thomas Show consisted of 3 episodes of a 12-week summer series which features three variety shows each from Toronto, Winnipeg, Halifax and Vancouver. The first three from Toronto starred David Clayton Thomas, former lead singer and composer of the jazz-rock group Blood Sweat and Tears.

The David Clayton-Thomas Show was followed in the summer series by "Inside Canada" from Winnipeg, "The Judy and Jim Show" from Vancouver and "Gary Karr and His Friends" from Halifax.
