Bethune (TV Movie) (1977)

Donald Sutherland stars in Bethune, a 90-minute drama based on the life of Norman Bethune, the Canadian surgeon-inventor who was-one of the folk heroes to emerge from Mao Tse-tung's struggle to control modern China. Bethune was written by Thomas Rickam and derived from the biography Bethune by Roderick Stewart. Original music was by Hagood Hardy. Bethune was directed by Eric Till and produced by Robert Sherrin.
